Twin Cities Photography Group’s Night Trains Experience

It has been said that “a picture is worth a thousand words” so here’s what a local photography club had to say and show about their experience at the final Night Trains session of the 2010 – 2011 season.

However, if you haven’t experienced Night Trains you will have to wait until November 26, 2011 when another season of Night Trains begins.

On Saturday February 26th, about 10 members of the Twin Cities Photography Group visited the Twin Cities Model Railroad Museum. We really enjoyed the “Night Trains” and winter themes throughout the museum.

Of course we brought all our camera gear including tripods and flashes. We found a nearly infinite amount of subjects, light and compositions. It was a night photographer’s dream shoot. The staff at the museum was very accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable.

We will definitely visit your fine museum again. Thank you! –Twin Cities Photography Group

  1. I brought two of my grandsons to visit the model train museum. The ages are 4+ and 3+. Both had a great time and I got some very nice pictures of them watching the trains. I intend to bring a few more grandkids in the months ahead. Thanks!
    P. S. I enjoyed the exhibit as much as they did!
