Successful Fundraising Event
Over 650 patrons visited the Twin City Model Railroad Night Trains Anaphylaxis and Food Allergy Association (AFAA) Fundraising Event to benefit the children and families with food allergies.
The event, held during the January 28, 2012 Night Trains event, was well attended and raised $500 for AFAA to help support their awareness and avoidance programs in Minnesota schools and restaurants.
Many thanks to all the patrons and volunteers from the TCMRM and AFAA that came that evening and supported this event.
Praise from AFAA
AFAA shared their praise for the success of the event:
Thanks to Kristin [Beltaos] of A Gift of Miles for arranging last week’s event at the Twin City Model Railroad Museum – we appreciate the museum’s support and are grateful for their donation.
We’re particularly impressed with their effort to ensure all the hands-on exhibits were clean and safe.
