The Twin City Model Railroad Museum is hosting a Great Northern slide show at all your favorite Twin Cities train watching spots from 1955 at the end of steam thru 1970. This slide show is all new, and never been seen. The slide show will be the end of steam on the Great Northern and diesels thru 1970 at locations like the Minneapolis and St Paul depots, Dale Street Shops, the Stone arch bridge, Minneapolis Junction, Lyndale yard, the main Great Northern UofM yard Mpls and other locations such as the GN iron range division.   Our keynote speaker will also [...]

The (Model) Circus Trains Are Back in Town!  Check out the Circus Trains during all open hours in April and September! See our popular O-Scale train (over 60’ long) which consists of animal cars, passenger cars, and special circus flat cars, each loaded with hand-made special circus wagons plus a Parade thru “Hamline” and wagon unloading show on the “big” layout. Additional layouts will each feature Circus trains and / or displays in their own scale.
