Location
The Musuem is located on the 2nd floor of Bandana Square, a historic Twin Cities railroad building. The building was constructed in 1885 and once housed a Northern Pacific Railway repair shop.
The Toy Train Division is located in the historic Chimneys Building just to the North of Bandana Square. The museum address is:

Bandana Square is handicap accessible. There are two elevators, one in the main atrium and the other at the north end of the building, near the museum. Restrooms are also located next to the museum entrance.
Parking is FREE and provides ample space for cars and buses.
The museum is conveniently located between downtown Minneapolis and downtown St. Paul. From Interstate 94, take the Lexington Avenue exit and go north on Lexington about 1.3 miles. Turn left (west) onto Energy Park Drive and go approximately 2 blocks. Bandana Square will be on your right (north side of Energy Park Drive).

Museum admission is $6.00. Admission for children under 5 is FREE. This includes admission to the new Toy Train Division next door in the Chimneys Building on Saturdays and Sundays.
